Maine PUC Issues Order Approving PPAs Between Central Maine Power and Glenvale

Glenvale is very pleased that the Maine Public Utility Commission (MPUC) has issued three orders approving the contracts between the Central Maine Power (CMP), and three Glenvale project companies. The Glenvale projects are West Baldwin Solar Station, Emery Meadow Solar Station, and Topsham Meadow Solar Station.

The projects collectively represent over $30 million of local investment in rural communities in Maine, and will generate over 90 FTE construction jobs, and five FTE permanent jobs. They are expected to generate over 1,500,000 MWH of clean energy during the contract period. All while saving money for Maine ratepayers, with low and steady power prices.

We have enjoyed working with CMP and the MPUC teams on getting these contracts finalized. We thank both for the confidence they have placed in Glenvale. We look forward to now bringing clean energy and meaningful economic opportunity to Maine, and the communities of Baldwin, Hiram, Buxton and Topsham.
